Functional proteomics of the T cell/NK cell interface in daclizumab-treated patientsy

PD Dr. Eva Tolosa (AG Immunregulation)

In addition to regulatory T cells, other lymphocytes subsets can also exert a regulatory role. Amongst them, a special subset of NK cells, the CD56-bright NK cells, are known to have immunoregulatory properties. We are currently analyzing the dynamics of NK cells in the course of multiple sclerosis in the context of anti-CD25 treatment, when the frequency of these cells is increased, and the mechanism behind this expansion.
